About

About Lost in DC:

Lost in DC is a sister site to LostGirls and was the first of the LostGirls sites.  The original idea came to our Admin, Jess, after she had lived in DC for about a month and realized that she knew how to get to the Metro and the grocery store, but still didn't know where anything else was.  Lost in DC aims to help transplants to the DC Area get situated so that exploring the huge metro area will be less intimidating.  It does not serve as a guide to the District itself, since there are dozens of DC guides for whatever your interest may be, though there will be occasional posts on events and activities in DC.

About Jess:

Jess Abbott hails from the San Francisco Bay Area, but is now a resident of the DC Metro Area.  She sometimes wishes she could find a hermit cave to live in and loathes traffic, in fact she's pretty sure that all the drivers in the DC Metro Area are trying to kill her.  Jess grew up a suburban girl, but has toyed with the ideas of urban and country living.  She once thought it would be great to live in a small town, but then Gilmore Girls ended and she realized it was just a phase.  Jess is the Admin for all four of the LostGirls sites.

About Mary:

Mary Leonardi-Cattolica is an American expat living in Genoa, Italy.  She loves city life and exploring Northern Italy and beyond.  Mary was the first member of the LostGirls editing team and is also a contributor to all four of the LostGirls sites.  You can also find Mary at Between the Mountains and the Sea.

About Seth:

Seth Abbott is a retired PhD scientist, history buff and cross-country skier who lives in the mountains of Utah.
